Fondant Puppy Dog Birthday Cake!

This Birthday Cake was made for a little boys fifth birthday.  His mother sent me pictures of his favorite stuffed dog "Little Dog".  The puppy was so cute and was pretty easy to make.  I think he turned out really well with the Marshmallow Fondant.  The color scheme was Thomas the Tank Engine Blue and Orange.  I think the colors of this Birthday Cake are my favorite.  Not only because I am a Miami Dolphins Fan but also because of how trendy they make the cake look!  We added a doghouse to the front with the name "Little Dog" hanging over the doorway.  The Birthday Cake was completely covered in Marshmallow Fondant and the decorations added were also Marshmallow Fondant.  You can't have a puppy dog cake without bones so we lined the whole bottom tier with white bones and added his name "Cole" as well.  Another fun Birthday Cake made by Bear Heart Baking Company!

Pink Birthday Cake for York, PA!

This cake was very fun to make!  It was covered entirely with Marshmallow Fondant.  The decorations were mostly fondant with a little bit of vine detailing done in white icing.  This pink cake was made to celebrate three friends birthdays!  I really hope they enjoyed the look and taste of this cake!

Mickey And Minnie Mouse themed Birthday Cake for Twins!

This was definitely a fun cake!  Who doesn't love Mickey and Minnie Mouse?  The three tier cake was a bottom mickey inspired tier and the middle tier was inspired by Minnie's Skirt.  The ruffling detail of the Minnie's Skirt tier turned out perfectly and was done with Marshmallow Fondant.  The entire Birthday Cake is covered in Marshmallow Fondant as well.  For the Top tier of the Birthday Cake I made Mickey and Minnie faces out of Marshmallow Fondant.  Adding the little bow detail for Minnie!

To finish off the top of the tiered Mickey and Minnie Birthday Cake I added a spiral candle with polka dots.  The Twins were turning one so one is all that was needed.  We did the smash cake a little different.  We made individual Cake Slices for each twin.  One Pink and Minnie Mouse theme for the one year old baby girls Birthday Cake.  One Red and Mickey Mouse theme for the one year old little boys birthday cake!

The other side of the slice was decorated to look like it was cut into and triple layers were showing on the cake.  The spiral candles go along perfectly with the theme and were made entirely out of Marshmallow Fondant as well.

The cakes looked absolutely fabulous!  We had so much fun making them and look forward to making many more Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed Birthday Cakes!

Brazilian Themed Waterfall Birthday Cake!

I was asked to make a Brazilian Themed Waterfall Cake for a Birthday get together with some old friends by Kristin in East Berlin, PA.  She wanted something to go along with the memories of there trip to Brazil where they all met for the first time.  Everything design wise was left up to me and she was very happy with the results.  Her Comment can be found on our website http://www.bearheartbaking.com/ under the photo album link.  Just look for Kristin East Berlin, PA under the comment.  Here is how the Cake turned out!

The little Toucan at the top of the cake was my favorite!  He was added last and sort of blends in with the rocks unless you are looking at it just right!  The waterfall is definitely the highlight of the cake.  It took 4 cakes to get the height for this Waterfall Cake.  The fondant flowers go all the way around the Waterfall.  The rocks and boulders were so fun to make out of fondant as well. 

The top of the cake looking down definitely shows another side to the waterfall.  The peaceful calm waters at the top flowing over the side just before crashing into the rocks along the way and at the bottom.
